I’ve been working on publishing my first book and keep hearing how important a book cover design is. I understand it’s the first thing readers notice, but does it really influence sales or reader interest that much? Can a great cover compensate for weaker marketing, or is it only about aesthetics? I’d love to hear from authors and readers how much does the cover affect your decision to pick up or buy a book?
